In an effort to facilitate the continued growth of our partners in South Texas, we were awarded the opportunity to fabricate, test, coat, and install new connection lines for a crude oil storage facility located in Aransas Pass, TX.
The project called for nearly 2,000 linear feet of pipe to be fabricated in our shop, x-rayed, hydrostatic tested, coated in-house, transported to location, and installed on-site for permanent use. With a project team of nearly 45 people, we were able to accomplish this feat on time and most importantly, safely.
The project scope included a variety of pipe sizes and thicknesses, straight runs, 90s, vertical changes, and underground portions. Whether it was 1”, 6”, 16”, 24”, 30” or 36” pipe, we were able to handle all aspects of the fabrication, coating, and installation of this vital crude oil piping system.
In order to properly align the pipes in the manifold, SR Trident also facilitated the fabrication of several large skid supports. There were 250 linear feet of underground pipe included in this project in which we were able to fabricate, coat, and install every portion.
SR Trident provided concrete footings, sampling skids, and oversaw the installation of helical piles for the project. Our civil crews were able to meet the high demand specs of the client within the proposed project’s schedule. Once the groundwork was done, SR Trident got to work on the install portion of the project.
This additional linear footage of pipe will increase our client’s volume of production by doubling their capacity. We were proud to have had the opportunity to make our client’s plans and drawings come to life. We are proud to be a major part of the area’s continued growth and provide exceptional services to our clients and neighbors.
